“Your Grandma Lied to You”: Doug’s Commencement Speech

After regaining his health, Doug Lindsay returned to school and finished his biology degree. One year to the day after graduating from university, Doug gave a commencement address in the historic, 3300-seat Stifel Oprea House to De Smet Jesuit High School, the school Doug himself had graduated from before becoming sick.


Health Datapalooza

In the kickoff panel at Health Datapalooza, Doug Lindsay walked the crowd of industry and government officials through how he used his own patient data to develop a surgery and save his life. Then, Doug ended with a sharp point: “So the next time somebody tells you ‘I don’t even know what a patient would do with their own data’… That’s right: You Don’t.”
